Board of Trustees, 2011 - 2012

Our Board of Trustees features an accomplished group of individuals. From a former mayor to a retired neurosurgeon and experts within the fields of education, the arts, law and business, they bring an broad range of experience to the table.

Stephen Crowe, Chair, Williamstown

Mr. Crowe is the chief executive officer and president of Mountain One Financial Partners.

Tyler H. Fairbank, Vice Chair Dalton 

Mr. Fairbank is the chief executive officer of EOS Ventures. He also serves on several community boards, including the Berkshire Academies Advisory Board.

Jane B. Allen '61, Williamstown

Mrs. Allen is a retired elementary school principal and an alumna of MCLA.

Joelle Collins, Esq., North Adams

Ms. Collins is an attorney and resides in North Adams.

James C. Clemmer '86, Hopkinton

Mr. Clemmer, the alumni representative to the Board, is president of medical supplies at Covidien Ltd.  

Dr. William C. Dudley, Williamstown

Dr. Dudley is Provost at Williams College.

Shirley Edgerton M.Ed. '07, Pittsfield

Ms. Edgerton is Director of Residential Programs for the Department of Developmental Services of Berkshire County and founder of Youth Alive, an educational and mentoring program for young women.  

Susan Gold, Williamstown

Ms. Gold is an active community volunteer who has worked with a number of organizations in Berkshire County, including Northern Berkshire Health Systems, MASS MoCA, and the MCLA Foundation.

Richard C. Lamb, Williamstown 

Mr. Lamb is the president and CEO of True North Insurance Agency. He has served as Mayor of North Adams.

Eugene W. Leibowitz, M.D., Pittsfield

Dr. Leibowitz is a retired neurosurgeon and former faculty member at UMass Medical.
