Board of Trustees, 2009 - 2010

Our Board of Trustees features an accomplished group of individuals. From a former mayor to a retired neurosurgeon and experts within the fields of education, the arts, law and business, they bring an broad range of experience to the table.

Jane B. Allen '61, chair, Williamstown

Mrs. Allen is a retired elementary school principal and an alumna of MCLA.

Stephen Crowe, vice chair, Williamstown

Mr. Crowe is the chief executive officer and president of Hoosac Bank and Williamstown Savings Bank.

Dr. John W. Chandler, Williamstown

Dr. Chandler is president emeriti of both Williams and Hamilton colleges. Upon his return to Berkshire County, he resumed teaching at Williams.

James C. Clemmer '86, Hopkinton

Mr. Clemmer, the alumni representative to the Board, is president of medical supplies at Covidien Ltd.  

Gina Coleman M.Ed '00, Ph.D., Williamstown

Dr. Coleman is the associate dean of students at Williams College, where she advises first-year students and is the head women's rugby coach.

Tyler H. Fairbank, Dalton 

Mr. Fairbank is the chief executive officer of EOS Ventures. He also serves on several community boards, including the Berkshire Academies Advisory Board.

Richard C. Lamb, Williamstown 

Mr. Lamb is the president of True North Financial Services. He has served as Mayor of North Adams.

Eugene W. Leibowitz, M.D., Pittsfield

Dr. Leibowitz is a retired neurosurgeon and former faculty member at UMass Medical.

Joelle McDonough, Esq., North Adams

Mrs. McDonough is an attorney and resides in North Adams.

Jennifer Trainer Thompson, Williamstown

Mrs. Thompson is the director of external affairs at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MoCA), where she is responsible for fund raising, marketing and public relations.
