B-HIP's mixture of theory and practice coalesce in a graduate-level seminar designed to examine current trends and practices in the field of arts management.  The B-HIP course is designed to provide students with rigorous exposure to the higher-level issues that inform the field of arts management while also enabling program participants to gain a deeper understanding of how different administrative areas function together in the day-to-day management of a cultural institution.  The course is organized thematically around topics of importance to the field.  Admission into the B-HIP program guarantees participants a place in this dynamic course, which is also open to ten additional graduate students from area colleges and universities.
