Grants Office
Welcome to the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts Grants Office which operates as part of the Office of Institutional Advancement. We are responsible for identifying external funding to advance the College's Strategic Plan and enhance college operations, academic resources, student and program development, etc. The MCLA Grants Office coordinates grant research, grant applications, and proposal development.
In this work, the Grants Office works with faculty and administrators who are interested in applying for external funding and assists them with the grant application and development process. This assistance might include indentifying prospective funders, as well as developing and submitting proposals.
You will find a recent history of MCLA's grant activity at MCLA. Also included is information for those who whold like to be more active in pursuing grant funding such as: useful tips for getting started, searching for grant sources and information on different sections of a grant proposal. The third section provides links for students who are interested in locating resources to support and enrich their education including undergraduate research or financial aid resources.
