MCLA ENGLISH/COMMUNICATIONS DEPT. TO HOLD ELECTION FORUM ON THURSDAY

NORTH ADAMS, MASS. — Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) announces its Department of English/Communications will hold an election forum, “The Rhetoric of the Campaign,” at 7 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 22, in Murdock Hall room 218.

At this event, which is free and open to the public, MCLA community members will analyze and discuss the implications of the promises, threats, and characterizations that have made the 2016 election notable.  

In addition to the discussion, brief presentations will be made by Dr. Amber Engelson, assistant professor of writing and rhetoric in MCLA’s Department of English/Communications; and Dr. Liz Hartung, an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics.
