Scope and Contents Note
The Randy Trabold Collection consists of approximately 4,500 8”x10” black and white photographs that span his career. The bulk of the photographs are of the Northern Berkshire area and were taken for the North Adams Transcript, where Trabold worked as the newspaper’s principal photographer for over 40 years. The collection is sorted int5766 categories. A substantial portion of the collection consists of children who range in age from birth through adolescence. There are a few pictures in the collection which are not Trabold photographs. Nonetheless, they are part of the collection. Many of the photographs are duplicates. The Trabold Photograph Collection spans a wide variety of subjects of small-town America. Photographs from the collection can be viewed at www.randytrabold.com. |

Provenance Statement
The Randy Trabold Photograph Collection was given to the MCLA Foundation by Randy’s widow, Ida Trabold. Legal copyright was transferred to the MCLA Foundation. The North Adams Transcript also relinquished any claims to the collection. |

Access to the Collection
