Dawn Rodrigues

Dawn Rodrigues

Ph.D. in English, Kent State University

Dr. Rodrigues has developed an instructional technology concentration for the Education Department. Her areas of expertise include technology and teaching and uses of computers in English and Language Arts. Before coming to MCLA, Dr. Rodrigues was on the faculty at Empire State College (New York): earlier in her career, she worked as a writing center director at both New Mexico State University and Colorado State University. In addition, she served as an instructional technology coordinator at Williamstown Elementary School in the eary 1990’s. Her professional contributions include service on the Editorial Board of Computers and Composition, membership on the Steering Committee for the College Section of the National Council of Teachers of English, and service as Director of a National Writing Project site for teachers in South Texas. Dr. Rodrigues has authored several textbooks and book chapters related to technology and teaching English.
