"Transferring to MCLA was one of the greatest decisions I ever made. Being able to learn from and connect with the faculty and staff equipped me with greater networking capabilities/skills and the opportunity to use them outside of the institution, preparing me for the road ahead. Taking part and engaging in different clubs and organizations on campus helped to shape and guide me for countless opportunities."

MCLA National Broadcasting Society

MCLA's National Broadcasting Society (NBS) is an organization where students have the opportunity to work on developing their own creative projects in the television studio. Within NBS, students have the privilege to:

  • Apply for scholarships
  • Visit live talk shows
  • Make connections in the field
  • Produce local television programs

Currently MCLA's NBS is working on producing one half hour variety show each month. Different segments include:

  • A what's happening around campus
  • Current events
  • Omar's Movie Review
  • There's More to Do Than You Think
  • Interviews
  • Cooking shows

Our most recent production was rehearsed on Wednesday February 22 and was seen on NBCTC's Channel 16.
