Matthew R. Silliman, Ph.D. * email * Sentience and Sensibility

Professor Silliman has taught at MCLA for more than 20 years. His research interests include Social Philosophy, Moral Theory, the History of Philosophy, and questions of literary form in philosophy (much of his published work is in dialogue form). Sentience and Sensibility, a conversation about moral philosophy, was published by Parmenides Publishing in 2006, and is perfect for propping up a short table leg. Matt is an avid gardener, cyclist, and ocean kayaker, and urges everyone.

Paul O. Nnodim, Ph.D. * email * website

Professor Nnodim received his Ph.D. from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany in 2003. He is the author of Rawls' Theorie der Gerechtigkeit -Rawls' Theory of Justice (Athena 2004), and the winner of the 2007 international prize for excellence in interdisciplinary social sciences, awarded by the international journal of interdisciplinary social sciences. His research interests include theories of justice, continental philosophy and rationality debates in the social sciences. He enjoys soccer.

Gerol C. Petruzella, Ph.D. * email * website

Professor Petruzella comes to MCLA after completing his Ph.D. at SUNY Buffalo in 2007. His research interests include ancient philosophy, classical languages and literature, and issues in applied ethics. In real life, Professor Petruzella goes by his first name, and is interested in flute-playing (though not pastry-baking), running, reading graphic novels, and performing culinary experiments of variable results.
