Adrienne Wootters is chair of the physics department. She has degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Massachusetts. Among the courses she teaches are the Sophomore Introductory Physics sequence, Modern Physics and Electromagnetic Field Theory. Her research area is low temperature condensed matter physics.

Mike O'Neill has degrees from Berkshire Community College and MCLA. He is the department's Lab Technician and teaches Introductory Physics and General Physics lab courses. He is also the department's "universal resource" - if you need anything, just ask Mike. Mike is an accomplished musician and plays with several rock groups.

Carl Wolf has degrees from Stevens Institute and Harvard. Among the courses he teaches are the General Physics course and upper level courses in Mathematical Physics and Quantum Mechanics. His research fields are in general relativity and astrophysics.
