Online Courses
What is an Online Course?
Online courses are designed for busy learners who are looking to further their education on their own time, with direction from MCLA faculty members. Like the hybrid coures, online coures require directed, out-of-class, instructor-led individual or group projects. This work will be delivered through Blackboard Vista, one of MCLA's online course management systems. MCLA online students may need to follow specific, technical instructions, which can be found at the MCLA Techhelp site. Full course descriptions can be found on the courses page. | Course Number | Course Name | Session | Instructor | | BADM 100 | Exploration of Business | July 7 - August 15 | Moriarty | | BADM 390 | Managing Workforce Diversity | July 7 - August 15 | O'Connor | | CCCL 100 | Computing and Communication | May 27 - July 3 | Spezeski | | CCCL 142 | Computing and Communication | July 7 - August 15 | Eve | | ENGL 150 | College Writing II | July 7 - August 15 | Rodrigues | | ENGL 211 | Introduction to Mass Media | May 27 - July 3 | Ebiware | | PHIL 200 | A First Course in Philosophy | May 27 - July 3 | Nnodim | | PHIL 322 | Business Ethics | July 7 - August 15 | Johnson | | WMST 201 | Introduction to Women's Studies | May 27 - July 3 | Stevens | | WMST 202 | Feminist Theory | July 7 - August 15 | Stevens |
