CSSE/Career Services

Although luck may have something to do with students getting their first job, the largest number of students starting careers or beginning graduate school follow a planned path. We're part of the Center for Student Success and Engagement (CSSE) and we help you plan that path.

Chart Your Course: We suggest activities and opportunities that focus on career planning for each of your years at MCLA.

Internships: An internship is a critical part of your experience at MCLA. Learn how to gain an advantage in getting the right internship for professional experience.

Study Abroad Programs: Travel enriches your academic experience and provides an expanded world view that employers value. We'll help you find the right experience.

Resume Preparation: Let us help you learn how to craft a powerful resume that best markets your achievements, attributes, strengths, and accumulated expertise.

The Job Hunt: We've gathered many resources to help you land a job, from search strategies, job listings, interviewing, and alumni contacts.

Graduate School Information: Deciding whether to attend graduate school requires careful thought. We've assembled questions and tools to help, including a guide to graduate school fairs.

Alumni Career Services: If your career is in transition and you need job search assistance, we can help update your resume, fine tune your skills, and identify current job and career opportunities.

If you majored in science, technology, engineering, or math, you may be eligible to receive tuition loan repayments. Visit: Commonwealth Covenant Fund
