Description
Intern meets with mentors, staff members, and later with key senior staff members throughout organization. Internship plan at the Eagle is broadly discussed for the length of the internship.

Internship will include: introduction to the newsroom/orientation; attend key editors/reporters meetings; understand flow of the newsroom operation, delegation of duties within the department, responsibilties of reporters (filing budget lines, coordinating iwth the managing editor, coordinating with the photo editor) where to turn what to expect.
Internship will include the following goals: Reporting; photography and reporting; reporting in depth, learning how to craft a story using facts gatherer during the reporting process; to augument narrative writing skills.

*Specific duties and intern responsibilities will be discussed in detail with the intern prior to beginning the internship.
