Description
Thinkglobal Incorporated is seeking a web developer/database manager. We publish Commercial News USA, a bimonthly magazine for the U.S. Dept. of commerce, as well as several other business publications and websites.

Responsibilities include:
*Developing Ruby on Rails and PHP web applications in a mixed environment
*Creating and updating MySQL databases
*Updating the content of existing web sites
*Diagnosing and maintaining workstations and servers
*Corresponding with customers
Required Skills
*Ability to write standards-compliant XHTML and CSS
*Knowledge of at least one major scripting language (PHP, Ruby, Perl, Python, etc)
*Comfortable with object-oriented design
*Ability to learn new languages on the job
*Knowledge of SQL, including joins, views, and triggers
*Comfortable in a Linux environment
Also a plus:
*Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Mac OS and MVC development
*Good organization and multi-tasking skills
*Good time management skills

Hours per Week
Intern will be required to work a regular number of hours per week throughout the semester. Hours are flexible and can be tailored to your schedule.
