Description
We publish Commercial News USA, a bi monthly magazine for the U.S. Department of Commerce, as well as several business newsletters. The Publication is an export promotion magazine for U.S. companies to advertise their products and services to 176 countries around the world. It's the only magazine of its kind with international circulation of 100,000 copies.

We can offer practical work experience in a well-supervised, pleasant working environment. Interns will gain hands-on experience with magazine publishing as well as gain valuable computer skills in a variety of programs. Interns are involved in the day-to-day operations of ThinkGlobal Incorporated as well as the ongoing projects that involve critical thinking , communication and time management skills. We are looking for a student to assist with the daily functions of publishing a bi-monthly magazine as well as assist with various projects related to the publication.

Responsibilities for the internship include:

*Market research
*Database management
*Survey Tabulation
*Editorial and production assistance
*Proofreading
Required Skills
*Good communication and telephone skills
*The ability to work independently
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access familiarity a plus
*Web browser/search engine experience
*Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
*Good time management skills
Salary/Hourly Rate
Unpaid
Hours per Week
The intern will be required to work a regular number of hours per week throughout the semester. Hours are flexible and can be tailored to your schedule.
