Description
Take Charge is a campaign to educate and assist residents of North Adams and the surrounding areas in energy conservation. As a Take Charge intern you would be directly involved with community members to promote awareness about energy conservation and renewable energy.

In the past, Take Charge interns have planned workshops, for both adults and children, presented at the North Adams Service Learning conference, been active members of the North Adams Green Group and worked on a carbon footprint for North Adams.

Take Charge is continuously expanding and is therefore in need of an intern with new ideas for initiatives as well as maintaining those that already exist.

The current intern opening has a youth education focus and therefore the position is best suited for someone with experience with and passion for children and adolescents. This internship is a great opportunity for anyone interested in eduction, sustainable living, community organizing, energy conservation and nonprofit work.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$10.per hour up to $1000. per semester
