Description
The Marketing Department seeks students interested in helping with all the daily functions of a busy marketing office located at one of the top tourist attractions in country. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: special events, promotions, advertising, website, and public relations.

Responsibilities: Administrative: Arrange visits to Faneuil Hall Marketplace for school groups, booking event and street performer calendars, stamping and collecting food vouchers from FHM merchants, various research projects as assigned.
Special Events: Create, manage and schedule promotional signage around Faneuil Hall Marketplace for promotional events and special activities. Assist in the planning and execution of all on site events and promotions including but not limited to: processing vendor orders, generating event work orders to maintenance staff, creating time lines and punch lists for events, distributing forms and memorandums to Faneuil Hall merchants, collecting event recaps from merchants and maintaining response database, setup/take-down of all event components on event day.
Tourism: Help Marketing Assistant with the creation of a monthly newsletter with upcoming event, activities and event recaps, distribute to all merchants. Respond to information requests from various groups and tour companies.
Signage: Create signage and flyers for Marketplace events and promotions. Manage the trafficking schedule of all on-property signage.
Website: Assist Marketing Assistant with daily updates to the FHM website. Edit content and ensure all upcoming events, special promotions and store directory are up-to-date and listed in a timely manner.
Required Skills
Students must have general office experience and knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook. Students must have good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and must be good at working with the public.
Salary/Hourly Rate
Students will be awarded stipend at end of internship period.
Hours per Week
M-F 9-5 Preferred availability: 2 full days/week and full-time, some weekend days are required for special events.
