Description
New England Wildlife Center:

*Provides medical care to sick, orphaned, and injured wildlife
*Treats 2,000 - 4,000 patients each year
*Patients represent over 225 species of birds, mammals, and reptiles
*Located 30 miles south of Boston, MA

Interns participate in:
*Diet Preparation
*Medical Treatments
*The cleaning of the hospital and cages
*Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
*The release of rehabilitated patients
*An amazing unforgettable experience

Our internship positions are variable in length and can be a full or part-time schedule. NEWC is able to provide a limited amount of housing to out-of-state residents or students whose permanent address is west of Worcester, MA, at a fee of $50.00 per week.
