Description
The goals of Congresswoman Tsongas's internships include: putting theories learned in school into practice; providing an understanding of the inner workings of Congress, and; producing substantive policy and constituent case work in a professional office environment. Both full and part time positions are available year round in the D.C., Lowell, Lawrence, and Acton offices.

As an intern you will:

-Establish valuable contacts when starting a career after graduation
-Fulfill a course requirement at an office with flexible hours
-Increase your knowledge of the political process
-Learn about current issues being addressed by Congress
-Interact with Elected Officials
-Serve your community
Required Skills
An interest in public policy and current affairs is a must. Strong written and verbal skills are also needed.
