Description
The BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA is now offering a non-paid internship opportunity to Berkshire county college students. 2 students are needed to help with office support, such as printings & mailings, traveling within the county to provide support to the District Executive, making sales calls to potential chartered organizations, assisting with fundraising campaigns, visiting Unit meetings, and working with volunteers.

The Boy Scouts are looking for someone to participate in a year-long internship, but are willing to consider semester-long internships. Hours will vary week to week, but the Boy Scouts can work with college credit requirements. Work is based in the Pittsfield office. Any county-wide travel will be provided to and from this office.

Required Skills
No Scouting experience is required; however, registering with the Boy Scouts is required of all paid employees and volunteers. This opportunity is open to male and female applicants. Business casual attire is appropriate (i.e. khakis and a polo shirt). A scout uniform is provided for certain functions.
