This is just what the name implies. Your specialty is the campers in your cabin. You participate with campers in a variety of daily activities in which you are the catalyst, leader, helper, guide, listener and above all the role model. Experience working with children preferred- the more the better!
Activity Specialist:
You instruct a specific activity area, such as: athletics, performing arts or fine arts, aquatics or outdoor activities. You must have formal teaching /coaching experience in the specific activity, as you will be teaching most often on your own. Also, you wear 2 “hats”-- when you are not instructing in your area of expertise, you work with the group with whom you are living. You will be instructing children ages 7-16.

Tennis, High and Low Ropes Course, Outdoor Adventure (mountain biking, hiking, camping, etc.) Gymnastics, Water-Skiing, Sailing, Life-guarding (WSI), Theatre, Arts and Crafts (wood working, ceramics, jewelry, rocketry), Roller Hockey, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Archery, Media (web design, video, yearbook, newspaper), and more....
