Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Sales Representative to join our Sales Team.

Rediker Software is one of the world's leading providers of school administrative software. Located in beautiful Hampden, Massachusetts, our company develops and markets student information system (SIS) software solutions to schools in all 50 states and over 110 countries. Our work environment is fast-paced, dynamic and ever-changing (and we're a smoke-free workplace too!).

Responsibilities:
Aggressively generate new leads by contacting prospective accounts within assigned territory, and follow up on assigned new leads and referrals resulting from lead generation activities.

Prepare presentations, sales quotations, cost analyses, and other documents required during the sales process.

Attend conferences and presentations in various cities throughout the country as needed.

Participate in other Sales & Marketing activities and company-related events (shows, training, etc.)

Provide product demonstrations on-site and over the Internet.

Develop a solid understanding of all products sold by Rediker Software and those of competitors.

Work closely with executive team, marketing, development, support and training departments

Required Skills
Four year college degree.

At least two years of sales experience; previous training in selling skills and techniques.

Knowledge of computer software and hardware.

Organized, with excellent project management skills and thorough follow-through.

Creativity and professional writing skills a plus.

Highly motivated, flexible, adaptable nature mixed with a good sense of humor.

Able to deal with different personality styles.

Industry Background Is A Plus:

Experience selling to the educational market. Knowledge of schools and the roles of educators and administrators. Prior work experience in schools is a major plus.
