Holyoke• Chicopee• Springfield Head Start is a multi-service agency, providing comprehensive programs, services and support to local communities.

HCS Head Start provides a variety of program options to meet the needs of families. We offer a traditional ˝ day early childhood program at no cost to eligible families. In addition, HCS Head Start offers a full day option for eligible parents working or enrolled at school full time. Fees for the full day option range from sliding scale to full tuition.EDUCATING Children
We promote school readiness by enhancing children's social and cognitive development, through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services.

SUPPORTING Families
Our services for eligible adults and families include health and nutrition programs, mental health programs, parenting programs, relationship programs, and financial education programs.

BUILDING Healthy Communities
We support the health and education of families and children of our communities through our comprehensive programs, and in partnership with other area service providers.

Open Positions:

Family Services Coordinator - Bachelors degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred.

IT Technician: Associates degree in Computer Science preferred, A+ Certification required.

Teacher Director - Associate or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or in related field, with six courses in Early Childhood Education & Department of Early Education and Care Director I certificate.

Lead Teacher - Minimum requirements of HS Diploma or equivalent and Department of Early Education and Care Lead Teacher Certificate.
