|The Bridge is pleased to announce that we are recruiting for a Division Director position for the Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS) Division to oversee the programs in West Brookfield.|
The individuals served have intellectual disabilities living in residential settings. More specifically the population served includes: young adults with who present with behavioral and mental health challenges; women with significant mobility and medical challenges; and older individuals with mental health, physical and/or medical challenges.
The focus of these services is on behavioral and/or mental health stabilization, community inclusion, life skills, maintaining family relationships, relationship development, and offering supports to avoid nursing home placement.
The treatment focus is Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) inclusive of staff training and coaching along with assessment, design, and implementation of universal, targeted and intensive support plans.
The Division Director provides administrative, supervisory and clinical oversight to the three West Brookfield programs; serve as primary liaison with the Department of Developmental Disabilities Services and other collateral services; and provide rotating senior level on-call coverage for the agency.
Masterís Degree plus five years of related experience, at least two in a supervisory capacity, and two years working with adults with intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral or mental health challenges. Experience with Positive Behavior Supports strongly preferred.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) also preferred. Additional salary compensation will be provided with this certification and relevant experience. With BCBA certification, this role will expand to include PBS development and implementation across the DDS programs agency-wide.
