Disbursement Information
Once financial aid is disbursed, some students may be eligible to receive a refund. Refunds that result from an excess in financial aid are paid approximately 6 weeks from the start of each semester. Please contact the College's Student Accounts Office for more information.
Book Advances
If the disbursement of an eligible student's financial aid would result in a refund after their semester's tuition invoice is paid, the student will be eligible for a 'Book Advance' to assist in purchasing textbooks through the College Bookstore. Book advances can be requested by contacting the Student Accounts Office. Book advances can be picked up at the Student Accounts Office one day prior to the start of classes.
All expenses are subject to change. For additional information concerning costs, disbursements or book advances, please contact the MCLA Student Accounts Office at (413) 662-5230.
