Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for Early Childhood Educators

An early childhood Continuing Education Unit is recognition for participation in a post-secondary early childhood learning program designed for staff at early education and care programs. One CEU is granted for 10 hours of learning.

As an accredited college, MCLA is able to endorse courses and workshops for CEUs that will be accepted by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. We currently partner with several early childhood educational service agencies including the Preschool Enrichment Team (PET) and the Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) to provide a variety of courses for early educators.
