Faculty Quick Start

In this section, you will find links to the employee handbook, campus map and directions, public safety including parking and window decal information, employee benefits, the bookstore, the college catalog and academic policies, and campus dining.

To order business cards, contact your department secretary.

Get Started with Technology

Your first stop after joining the MCLA community is to set up your technology privileges.  Please visit our TechHelp site to begin your account activation, which will include network passwords, email & voicemail activation and access to Banner Self-Service, our student account system.

Next, visit the Academic Technology Center to request course support areas, including Blackboard Vista, our Learning Management System for online courses.  You can also request training and find tutorials. 

Faculty Social Hour
Please join faculty twice a year for our Faculty Social Hour to meet new and returning faculty from across the campus.  Spouses and families are welcome. The Faculty Social Hour calendar will be added to the academic calendar when the dates are announced.

Taking Your Course to the Next Level

This is a 4 week course designed for online instructors who are ready to enhance their course with new design and facilitation strategies and techniques. We are asking interested faculty to fill out an application form. Space is limited. Faculty who are planning to teach online in summer session are encouraged to apply. Applications are due March 1st.
