Get Started with Technology

Your first stop after joining the MCLA community is to set up your technology privileges.  Please visit our TechHelp site to begin your account activation, which will include network passwords, email & voicemail activation and access to Banner Self-Service, our student account system.

Next, visit the Academic Technology Center to request course support areas, including Canvas, our Learning Management System.  You can also request training and find tutorials, as well as instructions on the use of our large format printer.

Faculty Social

Please join faculty twice a year for our Faculty Social, to meet new and returning faculty from across campus.  Spouses and families are welcome. The Faculty Social dates are announced via email and posted on the Faculty Center calendar.

Assessment & Student Learning

Please stop by the Office of Assessment for support in developing student learning outcomes and designing assignments and curricula which are linked to them.  You can find resources for pedagogical best-practices, interpreting results for improvement in the classroom, and aligning your courses with initiatives in your department and campus-wide.
