Graduate Programs at MCLA
The MBA program is designed for working professionals who want to earn an MBA without interrupting their lives. This graduate program will prepare students for the next level of their career.
Educating outstanding teachers has been a core of the MCLA mission since our founding, as the North Adams Normal School, in 1894. The graduate program in education will prepare students for leadership as a master teacher, specialist, administrator, policy maker, or other education professional.
The MCLA Leadership Academy is a cohort model that blends academic content with practical skill and knowledge development. Created to support the advancement of working professionals, the Academy is a low residency model (summer and weekend), with independent and online work assigned between sessions.
The Bachelor's/Master of Education (4+1) program is designed as an accelerated pathway for those students who seek to earn both a teaching license and a Master of Education (MEd). This intensive five-year sequence leads to a Massachusetts Initial teaching license in early childhood, elementary, middle school or secondary education.
