CAGS (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study)
We are pleased to announce plans to host a summer 2016 CAGS (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study) experience for students who have successfully completed (or will complete) the Leadership Academy.
MCLA's Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Educational Leadership is a post-master's level certificate for professionals interested in a career as principal, superintendent, or other leadership roles in education. The nine hours of CAGS credit can also be transferred into Texas AM’s doctoral programs in educational leadership.
Three course (nine-credits) CAGS sequence has a flexible format:
Students would come to campus from July 9-13 for the first course and then take the remaining two courses on-line form July 13-August 25.
Costs: $3,453 (nine-credits + activities fee)
Tuition is $317 per credit and activities fees cover special events, travel, and most meals for students during the residencies. Housing is not included and students may choose to live on campus at a cost of approximately $50/night.
MCLA reserves the right to unilaterally add, withdraw, or revise any course offerings of the above mentioned program of study including policies, requirements, and fees.
