Arts Management

What is Arts Management?

Arts managers are the bridge between the world of art and culture with leadership, managerial, financial and programming skills. Studying arts management gives graduates the tools to create, develop, facilitate and evaluate cultural programs and organizations.  Arts managers work in many places—art museums, historical museums, orchestras, theatre companies, foundations, dance companies, arts councils, festivals and arts education centers. Or, they work for themselves, using the skills gained in arts management to manage the business end of their own arts practices.
