"I received a great education from MCLA that laid the groundwork for me to succeed at law school. I use the skills I learned at MCLA, especially in the area of research and writing, on a daily basis and still speak with many of my former professors. It is not every school where you can create such a lasting bond with the professors and community. The strong community bond found at MCLA was a factor in my husband (Scott Lord ’98) and my decision to attend MCLA and our desire to remain involved with MCLA after graduation."

This door, found in the basement is the last original door left in the building. The brick archway, now filled in, was originally a bay for one for the campus boilers used for heat.
The basement does have several remaining open archways along the east side of the building. This entire area will be used for building mechanical devices.
All of these pictures show the hole soon to be filled with the new elevator. One picture shows the new landing outside of the elevator and various views of the shaft.
This area is located on the lower level north side and will be the new home for vending machines in the building.
This group of pictures shows the insulation and other items being placed in the walls. The wood planks are installed to provide a surface on which to install white boards in all of the class rooms and conference rooms.
A quick look at the Sociology Departments new home. The old windows will be replaced with new window of the same design.
