'Green Living' Seminar Looks at College Food Systems
NORTH ADAMS, MASS. - The next spring 2014 "Green Living" seminar at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will be a panel discussion on "Sustainable Food Systems on College Campuses" on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 5:30 p.m. in Murdock Hall room 218.
The public is invited to attend this event, which is part of this spring's free Green Living series, "Cultivating a Sustainable Food System."
The Feb. 27 panel discussion will include MCLA Aramark Food Servies Director John Kozik, Williams College Sustainable Food and Agriculture Program Manager Brent Wasser, Hampshire College Sustainability Initiative Director Beth Hooker and UMass Auxiliary Enterprises Sustainability Manager Rachel Dutton.
Panelists will discuss sustainable dining initiatives at the four schools, as well as national programs such as the Real Food Challenge.
