MCLA 'Green Living' Seminar to Focus on Permaculture and Resilient Food Systems

NORTH ADAMS, MASS. - This spring's "Green Living" seminars at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will continue with "Permaculture and Resilient Food Systems" with Jono Neiger, a conservation biologist and ecologist, on Thursday, April 3, at 5:30 p.m. in Murdock Hall room 218.

Part of the "Cultivating an Sustainable Food System" theme of this spring's Green Living talks, this event is free and open to the public.

Neiger - who has a diverse background in ecology, conservation, restoration, land stewardship, permaculture, horticulture and landscape design - has been a conservation biologist and ecologist since 1990, and a permaculture teacher and designer since 1996. He works to help organizations and individuals further their goals pertaining to the stewardship of their land, and for creating productive, regenerative human ecosystems.
