"Coming out of the History Department at MCLA, and also having spent three years working on the Student Government Association (SGA), I had hoped to continue to pursue my interests and get a job working in government. I had been to the State House a few times for Student Lobby days, and had been in touch with my local representatives all throughout school, so after graduation, this was certainly to my advantage, as I now work on Beacon Hill."

Garnet RogersDon’t forget to reserve your spot for the Railway Cafe show at MCLA Gallery 51 which is happening this Friday, Sept. 14th at 7:30pm. Garnet Rogers is a tall man and “big name” coming to our small city, and you won’t want to miss it.

Rogers is widely considered by fans and critics alike to be one of the finest singers anywhere. His music is literate, passionate, highly sensitive, and deeply purposeful. Cinematic in detail, his songs “give expression to the unspoken vocabulary of the heart.” (Kitchener Waterloo Records).
