The Research Centre in Women's Studies at Sussex offers a lively, interdisciplinary MA as well as cross-disciplinary research supervision on a wide range of gender issues, both practical and theoretical, in local, national and international contexts.

The MA course analyses theoretical and cultural constructions and representations of gender, as well as women's lived experiences of the ways in which gender relations are played out within economic, social and political contexts as relations of unequal power. The large number of faculty associated with the programme ensures a coverage of gender issues from historical, theoretical, cultural and comparative social perspectives, both on the taught course and for research degrees.
