MCLA Offers Business Administration Degree Completion Program

NORTH ADAMS, MASS. - Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) has announced that the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration will be offered this fall as a degree completion program, which is an option for the busy adult learner who is interested in completing their degree in an accelerated time period.  Classes will be offered evenings, weekends, and online.

The Business Administration Degree Completion Program is designed for those who have an Associate's degree in business, or an equivalent field.

"Delivered in Pittsfield, this program provides an accessible opportunity for students who may have started their college career but did not finish," said Howard "Jake" Eberwein, dean of continuing education.  "Designed for students who manage work and family, this program is offered as a cohort-style learning model, where students enroll with a group of other learners and proceed through the program together. Students will become academically and technically prepared for a career in business or government, with a non-profit organization, or for graduate study."

Students demonstrating experience in the workplace that connect with the business curriculum may receive credit for prior experiences.

Applicants should have an Associate's degree or be near completion, and must meet MCLA's transfer admission requirements to be considered for admission. Priority will be given to students who have earned a minimum of 45 - 60 transferable credits.

Financial aid is available for those who qualify. By completing this program, participants may be eligible to enroll in MCLA's Professional Masters in Business Administration (PMBA).

MCLA is accepting applications for the next cohort, which will begin their studies in September. For more information about admission to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree Completion Program, contact the Office of Admission at 413-662-5410, or go to degreecompletionprograms.
