MCLA to Host Admission Application Days

NORTH ADAMS, MA - Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will host a series of application days for prospective students interested in enrolling in college. The first in the series of programs being offered at local high schools in the county will be at Wahconah High School on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. and at Pittsfield High at 11 a.m.

The program is an opportunity to sit down with an MCLA Admission Counselor for a brief interview and review of a completed admission application.  In order to complete review of the application we will need to see a personal statement on the topic of your choice, a high school transcript that includes the most recent senior year grades and SAT or ACT scores. Students will also be able to learn more about MCLA and have their questions about the enrollment process answered.

"The application days lend a personal approach to the admissions process which can sometimes be daunting. The day is an excellent opportunity to meet individually with an admission counselor and present the highlights of your high school experience," says Josh Mendel, a member of the Admissions staff.

For more information on the MCLA admissions days, please contact the guidance office at the respective high school or the MCLA Office of Admissions at 413-662-5410.
