'Green Living' Series Continues March 24 with a Look at the Future of Local Water Infrastructure


NORTH ADAMS, MA - The spring 2011 "Green Living" seminars at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) will continue on Thursday, March 24, at 5:30 p.m. in Murdock Hall room 218 with a lecture on "The Future of Local Water Infrastructure." 

The event is free and open to the public. 

"The Future of Local Water Infrastructure" will be given by Timothy Lescarbeau, commissioner of public services for the City of North Adams. This presentation will address the drinking water treatment and distribution system in North Adams ,as well as challenges and strategies for maintaining the city's water infrastructure. 

For this semester's Green Living  series, "Water Wars: Protecting our Water Resources," the aim is to inform both students and community members about the impending global water crisis and provide an overview of our local water infrastructure.
