Free Classes at Northern Berkshire Adult Basic Education


NORTH ADAMS, MASS. - Enrollment has begun at the Northern Berkshire Adult Basic Education Program for classes including those on GED preparation and pre-college skills, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and basic skills classes.

New Programs include Career Pathways, classes to build success skills for college and career, distance learning, as well as online preparation for the GED, for students enrolled in one other class.

Day and evening classes begin the week of Sept. 9,  and are held at three locations in Northern Berkshire County; Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) in the Freel Library in North Adams , CT Plunkett School in Adams, and the Milne Public Library in Williamstown. All classes, books and materials are free for enrolled students.

Enrollment begins the week of Aug. 26, and will continue throughout the school year for most classes. To enroll or for more information, 662-5314.
