"MCLA provides a practical education that challenges students to develop themselves as thinkers, readers, writers, communicators, and problem solvers. Moreover, the MCLA liberal education prepares students for personal and professional success, helping students to comprehend the world and make informed self-directed decisions, preparing them for lives of civic responsibility."

Asian Club Aramark Dinner
On Feburary 20, 2007 MCLA's Asian Club had their first event. The event was sponsored by Aramark Dining services. It was a celebration of the Lunar New Year. The Centennial room was transformed with white table cloths and red napkins, each table with a take-out box full of fortune cookies. The walls plastered with little red decorated envelopes. Aramark provided a special menu with a variety of things such as a rice bar, spare ribs, lo mein and more. Members of the Asian Club also contributed by cooking their own dishes from their origins.

The Asian Club also thanks the MCLA Dinning Services (Aramark) and the Student Affairs for their support!
