"MCLA provides a practical education that challenges students to develop themselves as thinkers, readers, writers, communicators, and problem solvers. Moreover, the MCLA liberal education prepares students for personal and professional success, helping students to comprehend the world and make informed self-directed decisions, preparing them for lives of civic responsibility."

Charlotte Degen, Dean
International Student Services

International students relate with ALANA Students Services to ease the transition to a new culture and to acquire assistance as needed. ALANA Student Services Office offers an International Student Orientation Program each Fall semester. In conjunction with Academic Affairs programs are offered which relate specifically to the experience of students who come to the college from countries outside the United States.

MCLA Student Life

Friendship Families are available to support international students and facilitate their developing understanding of the college context as well as acquainting students with the attractions and resources in the local area. During the year, programs such as international dinners and cultural heritage celebrations are part of the overall fabric of campus life.
