Amsler Campus Center

The pulse of campus

One of the main focal points of student and college-wide activities is the Amsler Campus Center. The Amsler Campus Center houses student services and recreational facilities. The building's two wings are alive with activity well into the evening.

The West Wing

The Athletic wing houses the locker rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, free weight room, gymnasium, handball/racquetball and squash courts, athletic offices, and a dance complex that is used for a variety of activities including dance, boxing, Aikido, and aerobics. The Athletic Trainer's office and treatment rooms are also located in this wing.

The racquetball/handball and squash courts are reserved through the Fitness Center, which is managed by the Athletics Office. The Athletics Office also manages the swimming pool, which is staffed by certified lifeguards and offers a daily schedule of free swim time.

The East Wing

This wing houses the Centennial Dining Room, Student Lounges, the Marketplace, the College Bookstore, Convenience Store, an ATM and cash-to-card machine, Sharky's, a commuter lounge with e-mail/internet stations, a multicultural educational resource center and a variety of meeting rooms. Offices located in the east wing include Student Affairs, Dining Services, Center for Service and Citizenship, ALANA and International Student Services, Student Development and Activities, *VISTA, Susan B. Anthony Women's Center, athletic offices and Public Safety. Student organizations located in the east wing include Student Government Association (SGA), Student Activities Council (SAC), Inter‑Greek Council (IGC), BGLAD and Stop the Hate, WJJW, as well as the College Student Judicial Board.

The Public Safety area is open 24 hours a day and the Campus Center is open from 7a.m to 12a.m. every day.

Sustainability Dining

Because Trayless Thursdays were such a success last year, we're bring them back!  Also, paper plates will no longer be available at Lunch. Instead, To-Go containers are available upon request. Your ARAMARK is doing more to support local businesses. We buy many of our products locally. We are now buying our bagels from Berkshire Bagels in Lenox, MA where they are baked from scratch fresh daily. Our mixed greens are grown in Sheffield, MA in their own local greenhouses. We are serving Berkshire Mountain bottled water from Southfield, MA at our catered events and for our Athletic Dept. bag lunches. We also donate all our kitchen scraps to a local farm to be used to feed livestock. We stand behind our community and we hope you will too.
