Fitness & Recreation - Move It!
MCLA has many ways for you to stay fit. The Campus Center has a pool, Fitness Center, free weight room, gymnasium, handball/racquetball and squash courts, and locker rooms, as well as a dance complex for activities including dance, boxing, Aikido, and aerobics.
You can reserve racquetball/handball and squash courts, and the sand volleyball court in front of Hoosac Hall, through the Student Development/Events Office (413.662.5252). The swimming pool, staffed by certified lifeguards, offers a daily schedule of free swim time.
Intramurals are a very popular, accessible way to get exercise, have fun, and make new friends. Sign up for one or more of our many intramural teams.
