Orientation 2019

Our Orientation engages undergraduates right from the start through a college-wide, student-centered program. Review courses for your incoming semester, meet other new students, learn about valuable resources, collect information on campus clubs and organizations, and have lots of fun! Students may select from the orientation sessions listed below through our online registration process. Please use the dates listed to begin your travel plans for our Orientation Programs. Be sure to register for the option that is best for you.

Information on these upcoming sessions is sent to all accepted students who have paid their deposit. After you're accepted into MCLA, please be sure to set up your Email Account. Please call the office at 413-662-5102 with any questions or concerns.

Day Sessions:

These campus sessions will allow you to connect with resources designed for your individual needs while still showcasing what MCLA has to offer. Be sure to register online for a January campus visit and session components that best serve your needs. A pre-designed course schedule for Spring 2019 is sure to excite your academic curiosity and will aid in your successful graduation. Our campus community is ready to welcome you through conversations, department showcases and other opportunities to learn more about your future with us.

2019 Summer Orientation, Course Registration and Campus Visit Days to be posted soon. 

Details on each session and invitations to register are sent once your acceptance is final, and as we approach the coming session. Schedules for each session will be posted online.

Session Information:

Day Visits: Sessions that are designed as day long experiences offer important information and academic advising connections. 

Overnight Session: Overnight session for new students are held throughout the year. Overnight sessions offer new students a campus living experience. Students stay in a designated residence area for one evening while engaging in programs offered by our staff. Family and Guests are encouraged to attend the program as well and use our local accommodations list below for their overnight stay. Schedules for each session will be shared prior to the event.

Programs for Parents & Families

Our Orientation Sessions are open to parents and family members. Our Family Program helps family members gain a better perspective of what their new students will encounter. We discuss how we immediately engage students in our community, and provide information on the academic experience, policies and procedures, residential life, dining services, clubs and organizations, public safety, financial aid, and much more. Sessions are interactive and designed to make connections with other participants and college community members. Please join us!
