Overnight Student Session Checklist

Orientation sessions are held throughout the year. Our most comprehensive overnight sessions for new students are held in June. Overnight sessions offer new students a campus living experience. Students stay in a designated residence area for one evening while engaging in programs offered by our Orientation Staff. Family and Guests are encouraged to attend the program as well and use our local accommodations list below for their overnight stay. Check in for overnight sessions will begin at 10 am on the first day of each session in Hoosac Hall; check out on day two are followed with optional guided tours.

Sessions that are designed as day long experiences offer important information and academic advising connections.

Details on each session and invitations to register are sent once your acceptance is final, and as we approach the coming session. Schedules for each session will be posted beginning June 1st.

Programs for Parents & Families

Our Family Program helps family members gain a better perspective of what their new students will encounter. We discuss how we immediately engage students in our community, and provide information on the academic experience, policies and procedures, residential life, dining services, clubs and organizations, public safety, financial aid, and much more. Sessions are interactive and designed to make connections with other participants and college community members. Please join us!
