Hybrid and Online Classes

What is a Hybrid Course?

Hybrid courses are half way between a traditional - face to face - course and a fully online course. Click on individual course link for specific meeting days. Some of this work may be delivered online through Canvas, MCLA’s online course management tool. MCLA students taking hybrid courses may need to follow specific, technical instructions, which are quite similar to what our online students follow.

What is an Online Course?

Online courses are designed for learners who are looking to further their education on their own time, with direction from MCLA faculty members. Like the hybrid courses, online courses require directed, out-of-class, instructor-led individual or group projects. This work is delivered through Canvas,  MCLA’s online course management system. MCLA online students may need to follow specific, technical instructions, which can be found at the MCLA Techhelp site.
