MCLA Presents! devotes a night of poetry and spoken word by students in remembrance of poet Sekou Sundiata. Sekou was a Harlem born, multi-talented African-American poet, activist, and performer. The sound of Sekou's voice became iconic as his words were always full of honesty, warm-heartedness, comedy, righteous anger, and longing. Join students of MCLA and Williams College in presenting an evening of their own contemporary poetry and spoken word.
