Howard's work has appeared in the Village Voice, Heavy Metal, The Advocate, Starlog and many other national magazines. Howard's career has included theatre and television but the love of cartooning was always with him. He has published seven books, the latest in 2004, The Swimmer With a Rope in His Teeth.
