Years ago, I received my B.A. from this very college (and indeed, this same department). It's been an honor teaching alongside the people who taught me. Right after my B.A., I pursued graduate work in my other favorite topic: theatre. At Kent State, I focused on modern theatre and performance studies, studying topics such as museology, Augusto Boal and the San Francisco Mime Troupe while also writing and performing in plays. At Bennington I focused on short fiction and worked one on one with a new mentor ever semester. At Bennington, I was exposed to all genres and time periods through both the extensive reading list and the intensive residencies that occurred twice a year. I teach composition, creative writing and dramatic literature. In my spare time I am a company member at the Main Street Stage, a local theatre, where I write, act, produce, stage manage, and organize.
