Academic Technology

The Center for Academic Technology (CAT) was created in 2005 with funding from Title III. The Center is committed to supporting and empowering MCLA faculty to improve the quality of instruction in all courses through training, consultation and support. We are here to assist you with

• classroom material preparation
• instructional design and development
• support for Digication ePortfolio, Blackboard Vista, the transition from Blackboard Vista to Canvas
• materials and training in the use of common software (Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, pdf files, streaming and uploading video ...)

We run small group workshops and one-on-one consultations, as well as supplying FAQs and documents to help you use and understand MCLA's technology tools.

Have questions about ePortfolios, Blackboard Vista, or any of our other tools? Explore this page for links to helpful information, send us an email, or stop by!
