APPLICATIONS FOR STUDENT TOWN MEETINGS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED! The Berkshire Compact organizes a series of student town meetings each year for high school students. The program is modeled after WAMC's town meetings on public radio in New York state. The meetings provide a structured process for your people to analyze and discuss social and political issues with specialists in the community. The town meetings are recorded and shown on local public television stations.
Applications for student town meetings are accepted throughout the year. For more information contact Mary Nash, Berkshire Compact project coordinator, msnash3@gmail.com.
